Moments after birth, he was seized by operatives of the Protocol—an ancient enforcement body aligned with Civilight—and covertly transported to RHEA-017, a memory-neutralization facility veiled from public record.

There, under strict confinement, Velocity was subjected to a regime known as the Memory Suppression Drills. Deprived of his origin and truth, he was unwittingly weaponized—used by Civilight as a breach-born instrument to erase the memories of entire districts.

At the age of seventeen, upon uncovering the extent of his manipulation, he staged a revolt—an event later chronicled as the RHEA-017 Uprising.

In response, Civilight enacted an emergency containment protocol, encasing Velocity in cryogenic stasis where he remained, untouched by time, until his reactivation in the year 3030.
